Sky is the Limit documents Turkish-born artist Haluk Akakçe's monumental 2006 public art installation in Las Vegas, commissioned by the New York arts organization Creative Time. Presented across the vast overhead video canopy of the Fremont Street Experience, the work transformed four blocks of the city's historic downtown into an immersive, animated environment.

Known for his hypnotic digital imagery and fluid, otherworldly compositions, Akakçe explores the relationship between technology, nature, and artificial reality. Through shifting abstract forms and richly colored computer-generated landscapes, Sky is the Limit reflects the artist's fascination with the possibilities and contradictions of a technologically mediated world.

Published in 2007, this illustrated catalogue features 42 color images, an essay by curator Alex Farquharson, an introduction by Anne Pasternak, and an interview with artists Jane and Louise Wilson. An engaging document of an ambitious public art project and a distinctive example of early twenty-first-century digital art.
