Creating collages from the remnants of security envelopes, Security Check by Kingston-based artist Lauren Blair Hirsch is a series of large-scale wall collages meant to evoke tactile corporeality through textures and patterns. Each piece is a reflection of landscapes, intimate and distant, and the quotidian nature of mail and its discards.
