Nest: A Quarterly of Interiors was a magazine published from 1997 to 2004, for a total run of 26 issues. First released in  Fall 1997, and the second issue was Fall 1998. Thereafter, the issues were Winter '98-'99, Spring '99, Summer '99, Fall '99, Winter '99-'00, and so on until Fall '04.

Nest Magazine, founded and edited by Joseph Holtzman, presented unconventional and exceptional environments, rejecting traditional luxury interiors found in other magazines. In the words of Fred A. Bernstein of the New York Times, Holtzman believed that an igloo, a prison cell, or a child's attic room could be just as captivating as a room designed by a famous figure. Throughout its publication, Nest showcased a room occupied by a 40-year-old enthusiast of diapers, an Indonesian bird's decorated habitat of colored stones and vomit, the final resting spot of Napoleon's penis, the quarters of Navy seamen, a tank-like bed adorned with barbed wire, and a Gothic Christmas card from filmmaker John Waters. Revered architect Rem Koolhaas deemed it "an anti-materialistic, idealistic magazine focused on the hyperspecific in a world undergoing radical leveling, a publication hostile to shallow cosmetics."
